Kosher Meals on Wheels

The Kosher Meals on Wheels program provides food to clients who are isolated, frail, and vulnerable. We deliver Kosher meals to clients in the Covered Bridge and Greenbriar communities in the Marlboro area Monday through Friday. We also deliver weekly meals for clients throughout Monmouth County.

Every Friday at the Freehold Jewish Center, we hold Congregate Meals at 12:00 noon. These help the seniors in the area to come together as a community and enjoy a nutritious Kosher lunch.

Volunteering Opportunities

Volunteers are needed to deliver meals to our clients. Meals for the Marlboro area are picked up at 10:00 AM, Monday through Friday from the Marlboro Jewish Center and meals for Eastern Monmouth County are picked up at 10:30 AM, Monday through Friday from Congregation Torat El.

We also need volunteers for our Friendly Check-In phone calls to our clients. These can be done from the comfort of your own home. All you need to do is a one time training session.

Our Congregate Meals need an occasional assistant as a substitute when our regular staff is unavailable. Volunteers would need to attend from 12:00 noon to 1:15 PM.
