About JFCS of Monmouth County

Building a Future

Our Mission is to do everything possible to create health and happiness in our community by providing the best social services, delivered by exceptional people.

JFCS of Monmouth County was incorporated in 1976. We have built a solid reputation as a non-sectarian human service organization. We are licensed by the State of New Jersey to deliver mental health, co-occurring disorder and recovery treatment services, and are held to rigorous standards through regularly scheduled audits.

Our organization is governed by a Board of Directors of 17 Monmouth County residents and employs 19 professionals. 100% of the board members make annual donations to the Agency’s 3.4 million dollar budget. The Agency maintains diverse revenue streams as to not become too dependent on one source. The Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey supplies about 3% of the annual operating revenue. Other significant sources of revenue include: client fees, a non-profit business venture, one major special event, corporate, foundation and government grants, and bi-annual campaigns.
