Food Security

Reducing Hunger

JFCS programs provide food assistance to individuals and families who are facing food insecurity. We ensure that those in need have access to nutritious food, reducing hunger in the community.

Nourish Asbury Food Pantry

Nourish Asbury Food Pantry is proud to support approximately 300 families each week in Asbury Park. Every Friday, we provide volunteer assembled packages containing enough ingredients to prepare nourishing meals for a family of four. Our commitment is to offer the healthiest and most sustainable food possible, ensuring that every household we serve has access to quality, wholesome options.

As part of JFCS, the Nourish Asbury Food Pantry is more than a distribution site, it is a place where compassion, dignity, and community come together. By addressing food insecurity with care and respect, we help strengthen families, foster resilience, and build a more connected and supportive community for all.

Food pickup is available every Friday at our Thrift Store, located at 705 Summerfield Avenue, Asbury Park. Doors open at 7:30 AM, and distribution is offered on a first‑come, first‑served basis. Each visitor receives one bag filled with fresh items such as eggs, fruits and vegetables, and meat or fish.

We welcome all who need support and are honored to serve our neighbors with kindness and respect.
